ERAM Power Electronics Ensures Reliable Power for Critical Water Transmission Infrastructure in Makkah

ERAM Power Electronics Company has successfully completed a vital project for Water Transmission and Technologies Co (WTTCO) and Saline Water Conversion Company (SWCC). The Al Moghammas Reservoir Transmission Systems project involves the construction of an independent strategic water reservoir (ISWR) with a capacity of 2,400,000 cubic meters in the Makkah region.

ERAM’s scope included the manufacturing and supply of 3-phase to 1-phase conversion parallel redundant SineGate UPS Systems, with capacities of 100 kVA and five sets of 10 kVA each. These systems are supported by 180 cells of 1350 Ah and 60 cells of 450 Ah lead-acid gel battery banks, respectively. This extensive battery capacity ensures extended runtime, keeping critical systems operational until generator or grid power is restored.

A key feature of this project is the parallel redundancy built into both UPS systems. By implementing this fault-tolerant design, ERAM has ensured that the Al Moghammas Reservoir Transmission facility can withstand utility grid disturbances or failures without interruption to its critical operations. This design provides robust and redundant power protection for essential water infrastructure in Makkah, enhancing the reliability and security of the region's water supply.
